A personal starting point
What if my skin is oily, congested and sensitive at the same time?
Describe each concern instead of choosing the strongest cleansing service. Stacey asks about your routine, how your skin feels after washing and which products seem to cause irritation. The plan should fit what your skin can tolerate today.
Bring product names or photos of the labels, including prescriptions and recent changes. If you are already seeing a dermatologist, explain that plan so cosmetic care can be considered alongside it.
When medical acne care comes first
Painful deep breakouts, worsening acne or new scarring deserve a dermatologist’s advice. A spa facial does not diagnose the cause of acne or replace medication prescribed for it.
At your appointment
What can I discuss during an Acne Facial?
Discuss cleansing, suitable exfoliation, hydration and whether selected extractions are appropriate. Extractions are not an automatic requirement, and inflamed lesions should not be aggressively squeezed. Tell Stacey when a product or technique feels uncomfortable.
The Acne Facial is part of the facial menu. Its 60-minute appointment is focused on current skin care; it is separate from a microneedling session for texture left after acne.
Between visits
How do Eminence Organic and Circadia fit into home care?
Stacey can discuss Eminence Organic and Circadia products around your cleansing, hydration and skin-care goals. Recommendations depend on the products and ingredients that suit you; a brand name alone does not establish that a product will clear acne.
Keep the routine manageable. Avoid picking, harsh scrubbing or frequently changing several products at once. Continue prescribed care unless your prescriber advises a change, and ask how any new product fits into that routine.
After breakouts settle
What if I mainly notice marks or pits left after acne?
Flat discoloration and depressed scars need different discussions. For dullness and uneven tone, read about customized chemical peels. For pits, scars and uneven texture, explore our microneedling consultation guide.
The next step depends on active inflammation, sensitivity and the kind of mark or scar. No facial, peel or package guarantees permanently clear skin or complete scar removal.

Before You Book
Acne Skin Care in Staunton, VA: questions we get asked
Is this medical acne treatment?
This page describes cosmetic skin care and the Acne Facial. Diagnosis and prescription treatment belong with a qualified medical provider.
Are extractions included automatically?
No. Stacey discusses whether selected extractions are appropriate for the skin on the day.
What does the Acne Facial cost?
The current card price is $110 for 60 minutes. Other treatments or enhancements are separate.
Should I stop acne medication before my facial?
Do not stop prescribed medication on your own. Share your prescription and product list before booking and follow your prescriber’s guidance.
Can I ask about products without choosing a peel?
Yes. Discuss your routine and goals with Stacey. A peel is not required as part of every acne skin-care visit.
Can microneedling treat my current breakout?
It is a separate procedure, not a substitute for active acne care. Discuss current breakouts first and consider scar-focused options only when appropriate.
