The approach
What is our Premium Thai Massage like?
It is a table-based session that brings assisted movement together with hands-on massage. Your therapist supports a limb through a comfortable range, then uses rhythmic compression and massage according to the areas you want to focus on. You do not need yoga experience or unusual flexibility.
Thai massage is a specialty of our international team, which brings together practitioners from Thailand, the United States and China. Our therapists bring 10–25 years of massage experience. Tell us what you enjoy before the session starts and when a stretch needs to be smaller.
A massage table, with room to adjust
Our booking is Premium Thai Massage on a raised table. Organic coconut oil is included, with warm towels at 45–75 minutes and hot stones at 90 minutes or longer. If you expect a fully clothed floor-mat session, call first so we can explain the setup and clothing arrangements before you book.
Choose your session
Should I choose Thai, deep tissue or Swedish massage?
Choose Thai when assisted movement appeals to you. Choose deep tissue for slower, firmer pressure on selected areas, or Swedish when you want flowing strokes with less movement. The style describes the approach; you still choose the pressure you can comfortably tolerate.

Time & price
How much time should I book?
Start with the amount of time you can comfortably set aside. The menu begins at 45 minutes for $90; 60 minutes is $100 and 90 minutes is $145. A longer booking gives more time to move between areas without rushing. It does not mean stronger stretches.
The price panel lists all current lengths. If you are deciding between Thai and a mix of techniques, Custom Massage is another option. Book the treatment you actually want rather than selecting a cheaper style and expecting an automatic upgrade.
Before you arrive
How do I prepare for my first Thai massage?
Describe your movement limits before the therapist begins. Prior injuries, joint replacements, recent surgery and pregnancy can change which positions or techniques are appropriate.
- Choose Premium Thai Massage in Square and complete the health form before your appointment.
- Tell the therapist which areas feel restricted and which movements you want to avoid.
- Ask about clothing, draping, oil and heat preferences before getting on the table.
- Speak up during the session; a stretch can be reduced, changed or skipped.
Comfort & care
Does Thai massage have to feel intense?
No. The goal is a comfortable session, not the largest stretch possible. You can request a gentler range of motion, less pressure or no heated stones. Discomfort is a reason to change the technique, not something you need to endure.
NCCIH's massage overview explains that massage may be unsuitable in some health situations. Discuss a recent injury or operation with your healthcare provider first. For pregnancy, explore our supported prenatal massage instead of assuming the usual Thai session will suit you.

Before You Book
Thai Massage in Staunton, VA: questions we get asked
Is the Thai massage performed on the floor?
No. Healing Touch offers Premium Thai Massage on a raised massage table, using assisted stretching, compression and massage.
Do I have to be flexible to book Thai massage?
No. Your therapist works within a comfortable range and can skip or reduce stretches. Tell us about movement restrictions before treatment.
Should I stay fully clothed?
Call before your first appointment to discuss clothing and draping. This is a combination treatment with oil and heated stone elements, so do not assume the setup is the same as a clothed floor-mat session.
Can I request less stretching or pressure?
Yes. Explain your preference at the start and ask for adjustments at any point. A longer appointment does not require deeper stretches.
How much is a one-hour Thai massage?
The current card rate for 60 minutes is $100. Listed service prices carry approximately 5% savings when paying with cash.
Can I give a Thai massage as a gift?
Yes. Buy a Healing Touch e-gift card and let the recipient select Premium Thai Massage and an available appointment time. The gift card does not reserve a session.
