Your skin goals

Can a chemical peel help dullness and uneven tone?

A chemical peel uses a selected exfoliating formula to refresh the skin’s surface. The goal may be a brighter appearance, a smoother feel or less noticeable uneven tone. Your skin concern and tolerance guide the choice; the strongest peel is not automatically the best starting point.

Bring up dark marks, dry patches, visible sun damage or fine lines during your consultation. Tell Stacey whether the concern is new and what you have already tried, so the visit begins with your priorities.

Peeling is not the measure of success

Visible flaking and downtime vary with the peel and your skin. Ask what to expect from the selected option rather than judging the appointment by how much skin peels afterward.

Which PCA peel should I choose?

Start with a consultation if you are unsure. The menu offers different formulas rather than one peel applied to everyone.

Before booking

What if I do not know which peel I need?

Select “Not Sure? Choose for Me” in the booking menu or call the studio. This is a consultation selection, not a free peel. Confirm the recommended treatment and its price before proceeding.

Share prescription skin products, recent exfoliation, allergies and previous reactions. A gentle approach still needs a suitability check. Redness, irritation or pigment changes are possible; the consultation should cover expected recovery and when to seek advice.

Plan ahead

How should I plan around recovery?

Ask about the selected peel’s aftercare before choosing a date, especially before a wedding, holiday or outdoor trip. Follow the instructions for cleansing, moisturizing, sun protection and restarting products; do not pick at peeling skin.

For active breakouts, begin with our acne skin-care guide. For depressed acne scars and texture after breakouts have settled, compare the microneedling consultation guide. A customized facial may be a better fit when you mainly want cleansing and hydration.

Chemical Peels in Staunton, VA: questions we get asked

How much does a chemical peel cost?

The six listed treatments range from $125 to $195. The appropriate formula is selected after consultation.

Is Choose for Me a free peel?

No. It is a booking selection for discussing the right option. The treatment and price are confirmed after your skin assessment.

Will every peel cause visible flaking?

No. Visible peeling varies by formula and skin response. Discuss the expected recovery for the option selected.

Can sensitive skin book a peel?

The menu includes Sensi Peel, but suitability is individual. Tell Stacey about redness, irritation and previous reactions before choosing treatment.

Is a peel the same as microneedling?

No. A peel uses an exfoliating formula; microneedling is a different procedure. Discuss your skin concern before deciding between them.
